I'm just happy EXO flopped with Obsession because SM would have give them more NCT type of music if they scored a hit and that would ruin their perfect discography. I was worried about SM obsession with noise lately (nct, aespa), but it feels riize is going the exo path in terms of music.

Unpopular opinion but Obsession is way better than faceless and bland songs like Don't Fight The Feeling and Cream Soda

this is the tea  all these people acting like DFTF is the second coming of Jesus are the same ones that think Butter and Boy With Luv are terrible songs and the cognitive dissonance is not sitting right with me

Boy With Luv is good though. but lets not compare it to DFTF which is excellent

obsession is a great song though and the concept was great 

plus the vocal slayage was on point, especially from 2:43 to 3:12

Butter is a far better faceless pop song than DFTF and BWL is light years ahead of both  . Obsession is better than both butter and DFTF because it’s far more interesting and has actual personality.

DFTF can actually be sung LIVE perfectly  it can be worse than Butter and BWL (which it is not) and i'd still prefer it thanks to actual vocalists BTS cannot sing any of their songs

DFTF is a better rain on me. Shudder isn't awful but it sounds nothing like it 

 

Not every song without pots and pans sounds the same. I hate when BG stans start trying to talk about music for this exact reason.

You admitted to enjoying Queendom so you must really enjoy your bland faceless pop songs and that’s wonderful for you, some of us care for a bit more flavor though!

 

 

And I’ve seen my faves in concert plenty of times and they are doing just fine live thank you very much
