The way SKZ are getting jumped everywhere especially on Twitter, like is this the biggest hate train that our faves have ever received? You know what they say, the bigger the hate, the bigger the success  @Mitsuki

It's just K-pop stans being dramatic again, just like to many things related to Stray Kids. They will get over it in 1 day or 2. :swing:

Strain Kidz have always made horrible music. Maybe @Mel. made some points asking for them to be deleted from the thread title.

@Ryan Please keep the thread title for at least a week to seethe these people more :oh:

a week for what? and it’s no shade, but do you really think them performing trumps BP making history?

Girl, Kim Woojin who's struggling to sell 900 copies literally had the thread title for more than 2 weeks, like I promise you it ain't THAT serious

the locals are eating SKZ and TWINKxTWINK up and it’s deservingly so, it was a terrible representation for K-Pop last night

like who in their right mind thought S-Class should’ve been the representative for SKZ introduction? that song is beyoooooond terrible

and TXT still can’t sing

Kpop really lost last night, I’m afraid I can’t even fault the locals for dragging

You’re right, it’s not that serious, but my point still stands. Get their asses OUT!

And also the thing I have noticed is that no one is barely talking about TXT's VMA performance anywhere, when they literally debuted a whole new English single with Anitta? :hoetenks: Like everyone right now is talking about Stray Kids whether it's good or bad, cause they at least left an impression on the viewers, but it seems like people forgot that TXT literally attended and performed at the exact same event as well, but it seems like nobody cared?

Is it time for HYBE to finally shelve TXT and focus on ENHYPEN instead? Is Sunoo the true 4th gen it-boy from HYBE?

Why do you care so much about kpop's "reputation" being ruined? It's giving koreaboo and racism idk

it’s not about reputation.

Kpop fans are just loud about their favs being better than western artists, but last night just proved that without all the camera tricks and angles of music shows and Asian award shows they’re no better

in fact the western girlies ATE up the kpop performances

like, let’s not dig that deep and say pull out racism, that is so far from what im even taking about

I mean... what exactly is there to discuss?

I do appreciate them doing live vocals but they should've pulled a Le Sserafim and serve stage presence and dance instead with mics OFF, it would've been much more effective

Wait! @RichGirlPlanet is back?

Now all we need is PawsUp42NE1 or whatever their username was and we're back in 2013. :giraffe:

I feel like some of you just wanna argue with me cause where the hell did racism come from because I said TXT and SKZ were terrible, what’s racist about that? Like I wouldn’t even be in a kpop thread if I were racist

like, y’all are unhinged :biblio:

Thank you!!!! People tried to gaslight me when I brought this up earlier as well! Like why are non-Koreans so obsessed with how Kpop idols/Koreans are perceived in the US, and wanting them to fit in with the "US standards"?  We don't see Latin musicians changing their sound or themselves to fit in with the US, so why should Kpop?

It's as if these people are saying: "How dare these Kpop groups being themselves and staying true to their sound at our American Award Show and not fit in"

Some of you need to understand that the "noise genre" is literally one of the biggest representations for Kpop especially for boy groups  :skull:

S-Class and Pink Venom are literally siblings

Like I said, my thing is the loud kpop fans swearing kpop is better than western artists. I don’t speak for others or their reasons, but I’m not coming from a place of wanting validation from western audiences

all I’m saying it wasn’t a good representation shown last night for all the noise kpop makes about western artists

Kpop is known for being a certain way, big, extravagant, explosive performances, etc but they looked like amateurs last night compared to what a lot of the western girlies did who actually gave performance, theatrics, etc..which is what kpop is known for

This is a lie and you know it.

The only similarity I’ll give S-Class to Pink Venom is the old-school hip-hop breakdown in the middle of the song

other than that, I don’t see how anyone can compare the two sonically
