In Kpop, a popular female act has a higher chance of charting better domestically than a popular male act in general, just like how a popular male act has a better chance at selling more albums than a popular female act. There are of course groups having both as well. 

 

It does make sense bc plenty of males soloists gets hits in SK and we got the exemple of ZB1 getting a bigger debut song in SK than Kep1er whole career. 

 

The problem is the music not the fact that they are males.
