even the SM Sheep in me can’t defend it. None of the members stood out dancing either, like how Kai did when EXO debut. 
how we go from Replay to this. hopefully the debut is more like this

Ok maybe I sound like an old head and can’t relate to the noise. But still no member stood out and I doubt I will ever replay it again

This is what I have been saying. Wasn't MHJ also hugely involved with the creative direction of SHINee back in a day? now she's basically recycling it to NJ 

 

 

We shall see then since this isn't their main debut single yet

This lie. Shotaro is like the best dancer in SM.

 

And Kai stood out in EXO because they are not great dancers.

I genuinely don't understand why some companies don't allow idols to have own IG accounts 

This is so beneficial for the idol's own brand and they will become more visible to the sponsors and fashion companies => more profit for the company

It brings out competition between the members (A member has more followers than B). JYP is still haunted by Suzy and miss A

idols individuals accounts are risky for companies since they can accidentally create a scandal, esp for rookies when they dont have a established fandom to back them

but itzy is a 4 year old group, atp jyp is just being outdated and undermining the girls potential as usual

Yes, it can bring competition, looking at Blackpink akgaes should tell enough. But on the other hand isn't competition a good thing? It will motivate solo stans/akgaes to follow their favs more => the idols will gain more followers => they will become noticed by brands => more profit for the company and idols

It might do a lot of harm to the fanbase's toxicity but who cares? Literally every kpop fandom is toxic so there's not much to lose at this point

It’s so unfair that the ITZY members aren’t allowed to have solo IG accounts for now, while Lee Know and Han themselves declined the offer to open a solo IG account recently  

JYP/Division 2 and their mismanagement of ITZY truly needs to be studied

Those "models" are literally making millions of dollars for the company AND themselves by being ambassadors of fashion brands, attending magazine photoshoots and fashion weeks. Don't see it as a bad thing whatsoever

You get cancelled for nothing in kpop atp. So an IG isn’t the end of the world.  
 

But Itzy aren’t renewing, and I expect NMIXX to do the same.

EXO as 12 had a whole line-up of great dancers: Kai, Lay, Luhan, and Tao (Sehun was average but has grown since). From a technical standpoint, a lot of people deem Lay the best dancer of the group, so Kai being a standout wasn’t because the others weren’t great. He has an unrivaled stage presence as well, and I’m sure that will be highlighted with Shotaro as well. If not, it might be because the guy who was center for most of that performance video was also tugging wigs a bit
