It's just a mistake

@Flomik I just looked up AOA's Spotify numbers and it really is a mistake and fraudery going on omg  For some reason AOA are credited for a very famous Jonas Blue song that has almost 1B streams, even though they don't sing or have anything to do with the song :skull:  They are literally just getting credited for 1B extra streams for free, which they don't have  This is a real definition of fraud or it might be some form of glitch, and I wonder why Spotify hasn't fixed it yet?

It's giving the entire G-IDLE profile being credited on K/DA songs even though it is only Soyeon and Miyeon but even worse :redface::redface:

It CANNOT be stressed enough the absolute COLLAPSE that this banger is. So SEKSH!

It NEEDS the E,P ATBW treatment asap.

Also, Miss Chaeyoung is EATING, wtf. When did she become this powerhouse? (I still miss my fave Gyuri, tho. Her deep tone would've worked amazing in this!!)

The definition of a real experimental song :ghostface:Probably the most experimental Kpop song I have ever heard, and I can't believe that JYP actually led them release it :clap3: Like this is the same company that released Likey, Heart Shaker and Cheer Up :dies:

SNSD has 847M combined streams, so probably. Btw, I keep seeing people saying SNSD's Japanese discography this or that, like did SNSD's Japanese discography really hold that much of a weight on their overall discography? Educate me, hags

the audacity :deadbanana2:

The audacity of what??? His voice is the typical Kpop main vocalist. He lack flavor for a song like over me imo :coffee2:

Wasup with the harsh criticism, they are better vocalist than ENHYPEN and ENHYPED have a ton of bops

It’s not harsh criticism lol. Taere voice just like flavor for a song like Over me. Hao did great in the og version but would he be able to pull the high notes?

I'm not even a TXT fan but considering they have like 70 tracks on Spotify compared to SKZ, Seventeen, and Twice's over 200 tracks each, their total streams are impressive.

Do they have global hits that I don't remember? Because based on what's mostly shared here, I'd expect other groups to have more streams on average.

It's really very unique.

I love how they use different type of speed and tonalities, depending on the character they are interpreting: the Tortoise or the Hare, since the song is a dialogue between them.

It becomes purposely annoying when the lines gets as slow as how a tortoise walks and then quickly become fast like how a hare runs wanting to win the race. But when you pay attention to the details, It's so catchy.

Half of this 200 Stray Kids tracks are re-recording songs from their first 6 albums. So It's not really fair to compare these songs on average with other groups' all new and fresh songs.

To be fair, If you count IN LIFE + NOEASY + ODDINARY + MAXIDENT (2020-2022 songs) with 46 tracks Stray Kids songs get as much daily streams as TXT's whole discography including their 2023 comeback. Both around 3.5-3.7M.

It’s cuz 1/3 of SNSD’s discography isn’t on Spotify, and they peaked before streaming. They are still the most streamed 2nd Gen Kpop group ever on Spotify, these numbers aren’t accurate

I mean, BTS also has tons of stuff on their page that are not really songs so I know comparing averages does not make a lot of sense (because that would make NewJeans bigger than BTS :ace:)

But SKZ and SVT sell and tour better than TXT, no? I only read about their stats here but I assumed they would do much much better in streaming as well. I wasn't really comparing them anyways, I was genuinely surprised by TXT because I don't see any mentions of them here  :deadbanana4:

Oh, I see! Sorry If I misinterpreted you. People here attack Stray Kids so frequently I assumed your  intentions was to shady them, but you are just curious.

TXT seem to be casually liked here, but I suppose they don't have an active core fandom on the thread, so they and their achievements aren't too mentioned.

Yeah, people need to realize that SKZ have 2 versions of their first 6 albums, since they re-recorded every song after Woojin's departure and re-released those songs without him. This is exactly why they have so many song etc. :rip: And if you combine all their re-recordings it doesn't even make up 2 % of their total streams, which is why it's unfair to include those re-recordings on average per song. Like, they still don't know that most of SKZ streams are literally from 2020 and onwards :rip:
