Guys don't buy albums.  But guys are important for groups to make money in live appearances and advertising -- where the margins are infinitely better than pushing polycarbonate and cardboard.   Like New Jeans first contracts to sell pop and phones and whatever were most likely not much more than a standard modeling fee.  With those demographics, their next contracts are going to be ridiculous.

 

That New Jeans have taken their y2k concept and returned demographics that were last seen in y2k (and with Twice and Blackpink) confirms that they are going to be unstoppable for a little bit.  And for the industry as a whole, they should work on getting those guys to stick around.  Get them to swap cheering on girl groups for a complete waste of time like cheering on sports teams.

Please idk why JYP keeps booking his groups for performances on Fox 5  This is my local Fox station too. I don't know what the goal here is… Nobody watches the morning station for more than a few minutes at a time except for pensioners
