Wendy literally went from not having a C-bar to managing 200k album sales just from 6 Dan unions. Um, Wendy has had a main C-bar, Wendybar, for years. Who do you think helped her solo sell so well and even bought her a custom mic? This was all well before GOT The Beat even existed (early 2021). RV's sales were also already increasing long before GOT... Queendom was already a career best for them (at the time) in August 2021. I believe they've been slowly gaining international/Chinese fans for a number of years and it finally paid off in the past couple years. They're SM's top group on Spotify by a big margin for example, which probably helped and their domestic hits have solidified that.

There used to be a huge scandal when Japan's Idol culture was all the rage, but I feel now it's not as big of a deal anymore since Kpop started taking over + japanese youth have other interests. But they do have dating ban policies still. If someone gets caught they usually get kicked out of the group.

Ballet ≠ commercial pop dance and tbh I've seen nothing of Mina's core foundation to believe she was an exceptional ballerina. In the states, it's customary to play team sports from grade school (tots and little league) to college - if accepted on a college team keeping in mind their are different rankings for divisions. I played competitive volleyball for 8 years but at an A level. I could not make a collegiate D team. I love Minamal but 11 years of recreational ballet doesn't make her good at ballet and it's a besmirchment to try to put her on Momo's level of commercial dance. She's regularly too upright and rigid and overly placed in her movements which is actually her ballet training working against her. Nobody said ballet equals commercial pop dance skills. That whole conversation started because some random user said Twice has 3 capable dancers at max, and you know that’s not true. Mina’s ballet skills might be working against her sometimes in kpop, but she is nowhere near a bad dancer. In fact, that makes her brain wired to have better technique than most members learning a choreo. They said Jeongyeon is a bad dancer but she’s never been truly bad (the recent few times where she was still recovering from her hiatus doesn’t/shouldn’t count as it was beyond her control). Her moves have always been sharp and concise and she does really well in conveying a masculine energy and stage presence. I can’t believe how someone can call Tzuyu a bad dancer because she’s always been graceful and energetic and never misses a beat. Again, I’m not trying to put any of them in Momo’s category but nobody in twice is a “bad” dancer by any means. There is a reason they’re one of the most synchronized groups in kpop and you don’t really see a dance-hole member. And they have had plenty of difficult choreos in their career. 2 hours ago, Adama said: Key world if they aren’t playing : world-famous K-POP idols. Add, that it’s from a Japanese tabloid, then it’s probably someone from Twice or if it’s someone from LSFRM only Sakura is big enough (since they exposed a lot of AKb48 members in the past) the mystery lmao watch it be someone we already know about 54 minutes ago, kendoll2001 said: When the NJ-IVE-LSFM equivalent of Gen 4 BG is actually MHJ/Ador’s NBG, and they debut in 2024/2025 @Witnessed ET It’s giving Prince of Saint Laurent I love how much Paris always turns out for the idols. Every KPOP act making Paris a mandatory tour date challenge when our stunning Prince I mean yeah, Paris always turns out for Koop idols, plus I think they also have a similar taste when it comes to the high-fashion sense in the kpop community. These companies really should start having European dates when they call it a “WORLD tour” tbh. Imagine how much bigger kpop would have been if they didn’t usually ignore a whole ass continent and its fans. If they can handle the logistics of having your dates in Australia and NAmerica, then they can definitely handle Europe. Edited January 18, 2023 by Witnessed ET

karlo_98 Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Who is that rapper they're talking about? At least the one who faked it should've give us a name.
Green Tea Is Green Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 What I get from the story is that the IG acc is someone pretending to be a HYBE producer/composer (and ig rapper, the guy in the pics), the acc would upload chaeyoung pics a few months ago and recently started with those edits with chaewon so the outlet implied chaeyoung was also his ex So basically a random fan (or the person behind the acc) sold all of this to Bunshun, they're allegedly really credible with j-entertainment **** so this is just... funny
