knetizens (and international stans too) can be very fickle. look what had happened to itzy before aespa

nj ive and lsrfm are not safe either but i hope they will have enough time to get a big stable fanbase like itzy and aespa

though aespa and itzy can bounce back like g-idle and serve a PAK

After Gidle smashed last year harder than they ever did before, anything can happen tbh. Itzy just needs right branding and marketing with better music, and aespa needs to try something fresh beyond its boring lore and noise….and they’ll be back on track.
and I don’t think NJ are going anywhere anytime soon since the creative direction of MHJ is really strong. Like she knows the subtle elements that can have an impact on the listeners and incorporate that in their music and concepts.
LSRFM also have a clear understanding of who they are as a group and what kinda sound and image they wanna represent, and the music being high quality, punchy and easily digestible is a plus. So I think they’ll have great longevity if they keep going with minor developments each comeback.
now IVE is in a slightly tricky situation because of the whole “Wonyoung and friends”, so they would have to really utilize all the members and balance their strengths well. Other than that, I don’t want to pay too much attention to the “basic music” comments because they literally released Love Dive which is structurally one of the best kpop songs (or pop songs period), so quality isn’t their problem.

this is such an exciting time for all the girlgroups damn :dies:

Physical sales are the least reliable metric since theyre inflated and Im pretty sure numbers reported for *certain* groups are fake.

Well then they have almost nothing left :deadbanana4:
Maybe their future touring stats

I would say they have the biggest hit of 4th gen (for now) which is something. Love Dive and Hype Boy are coming though

Tzuyu, Jeongyeon and Dahyun are legit bad dancers. Nayeon, Mina and Chae are barely above average

But back to fashion

you know who's poised to snatch an ambassador brand deal upon debut!?

she was already working the runways and a fashion girlie

once she debuts in BAEMON it's over! :flame:

Im kinda screaming at the fact that one year ago people called aespa 4th gen leaders only for IVE, NJ and LSFM to debut and stomp on them

the "stomp" in question being one bad comeback which sold almost 2m copies and actually charted very decently!

Mina has 11 years of ballet on her back, anyone with minimal knowledge of dance would call her a good dancer :rip: the rest don't have that professional background but they're still good dancers, at worst you could argue Jeongyeon isn't as good as she once was tbh, her health issues obviously affected it but even then, she's nowhere near a bad dancer

Right? :rip: people should stick to pushing that narrative about their vocals :bam:

Lmfao! I mean ofc the Gaon points are going to be bigger for NL since it’s older, but LD is now the longest Kpop gg song inside the melon top 10.

Like these 4th gen gg stans are un-loyal as hell :deadbanana:

Glad we agree their sales are fabricated

Always come up with that choreography even Giselle can do it :penguin:

Best bsides of their respective albums and they all start with a B

HB is the biggest 4th gen song I fear it will never die. I don’t see how LSR, NJ and IVE can flop but we all know what happened with some groups. So

Scared for the Twice girls bc they ARE the world class Kpop idols in Japan. Also bt$ and Seventeen are big there and I doubt they would go for some 2nd gen idols like KARA or Girls Generations.

You cant tell me that 1 million people went to the cd store to purchase a ITZY album. Or that 3 million people bought NCTs latest album when the group has been a huge critical and commercial failure their entire run. These sales are not believable at all. Its only believeable for BTS and BP
