I get you want Jay to debut under a big company which any fan would want. But HYBE isn't going to take him in unless he has something to offer. Sakura and Chaewon were super popular for HYBE to go after them. 

 

If anything Jay might earn more money if he gets into streaming or online content rather than trying to debut in a kpop group under a smaller company. Even going solo would be hard. 

Yeah I get what you’re saying, HYBE usually looks at the popularity and what the korean audience wants, but saying that Jay does not have anything to offer is not true when he can literally catapult a group vocally into another level, especially in this gen. And he can also pull an international audience. I’d like to think that the company people are at least aware of that lol. They took Danielle for example who is not very popular with the Korean audience but she still adds a unique vocal color to the group. 
 

and yeah he can obviously go into online content and stuff but that’s not the point. He’s a vocalist and a musician in the first place and that’s what I want to see him do and succeed in doing it. 
 

but it’s sad because he said before joining Boy’s Planet that this was his “last chance’’, so I hope he doesn’t give up now that he didn’t make it

I have to preface that I only watched the show through TikTok videos and some clips here and there on twitter and youtube.

 

I kinda prefered Jay as the international member over Seok Matthew

 

 

Better singer and more handsome

If I wanted  a Seok Matthew, I can go to 'The Boyz' and get that from Kevin and Jacob.

 

Also, just realized Park Gunwook looks the cutest in that video of all of them at the end
