meanwhile in 2019 when BP did it they accused of “romanticizing abuse” and were attacked relentlessly. It really just shows me koppies don’t really care about their stances on topics, they just use it when it’s convenient to hate on certain groups

Unforgiven is building on them being fearless warriors traversing new paths despite criticism and pushback so most people did not make a connection to dv. Its in their webtoon lore. Wasn’t Kill this Love explicitly about a bad relationship? 

 

Do acknowledge that established groups like BP catch more flack for non issues (see: Nurse Jennie)

I actually love I AM. IVE has so many catchy poppy earworms that I can listen over and over on repeat. 

 

On the other hand, not feeling Giddy. A lot of people seem to like it but I'm not really feeling it. Hopefully the BP group songs aren't this inconsistent...

I mean, I personally have no issue with LSF myself, I just hate the double standard people have when it comes to BP who did nothing wrong with their concept either

They got lucky with CUPID but will they be able to get a real fan base? Or is it just going to be a fluke ?

 

Their CEO is basically studying international kpop market and the Trends on TikTok and YouTube Shorts (yes he said it himself, he sold his cars and other personal belongings just to pay for this comeback), and since the song is getting traction instead of starting promo directly he sent them to train their vocals and dance while trying to book stages and festivals spots overseas. (Yes he is aiming at public recognition more than a fanbase).

 

So basically he if they are not building at least some fanbase before their next comeback they are basically doomed, or they'd need to keep releasing critically and publicly acclaimed song which is not easy to do.

lol @ “no 3rd gen gg can compare with 4th” you clearly must be referring to TWICE or RED VELVET because it sure ain’t BP. Not when Jisoo alone just surpassed 1 million in a week

 

BP is on another level, a wall of you will.

BP are definitely a wall for 3rd gen, even if they’re not releasing enough to surpass TWICE anytime soon.

 

But IVE, Aespa, NewJeans and now even  Le Sserafim are outpacing every 3rd gen group. Next year, it’ll be even more obvious. Just imagine the numbers BaeMon will pull

Their vocal colors are definitely one of their biggest strengths.  All of the girls voices are so infectiously catchy. Not Your Girl is a great example of this, Liz in particular sells it with how happy she sounds.

Apparently some of the c-Kep1ians (most are Xiaoting solo stans and akgaes) are not contribute c-bar this time around because they're not happy of W1 mistreated her.
