It’s so hilarious seeing comments like “and then it’ll have a massive drop the next day” as if it’s some kind of drag when it’s a Christmas song and literally nobody is listening to or playing Christmas music after December 25th.
 

Like yes, that’s the nature of holiday music. Doesn’t change the fact that none of your faves will ever have a 28 year old song that’s going #1 year after year in their 50s. When it’s time for the song to smash, it smashes harder than every other song out there without any room for competition.
