I'll have to respectfully disagree. I'm sorry, but the album cover for "...Baby One More Time" always made me uncomfortable. It's just such an unflattering angle and pose. Thank goodness for the European cover... now you could make a case for this one being iconic

okay I admit I kind of picked it more for the album itself more than the cover. The album makes the cover iconic to me if that makes any sense, but yeah that definitely isn't her best cover and I can see why the #Army wouldn't favor it. I love her Femme Fatale cover tho which I think is underrated.

chromatica and teenage dream are probably the best mpg album covers imo, but the rest of their covers don’t do much for me.

 

madonna is the most consistent with covers. britney and rihanna have the worst.

It's been 4 years and none of the MPGs have topped this masterpiece since  Probably one of my favourite album covers of all time.

It goes to show the significance of an album cover because this is what attracted me to listen to Dua Lipa at a time when I thought she was going to fade away as a nostalgia fad act. The album cover perfectly displays a proud and confident Dua wanting you to hear her out, take her seriously and hear her artistic potential. The fact she didn't even title the cover shows that she wanted to make a statement with this album and she did. Just pull up this cover and everyone know what it is and who it is. The album cover even channels the sound of the album with its direct references from the 1950s (her outfit), 1960s (the earrings, makeup, car), 1970s (the space age), 1980s (the filter, rings) and 1990s (mid-90s pink, gloves). A brilliant cover!
