WildAmerican Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Lana's like a fine dining, it's might not be quick, and it might take time and effort, but it's richness and complexity awards those who wait. Not the McDonalds pop music that some put out
GentleDance Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 It's always stans of faceless label puppets with no input or involvement whatsoever in their music

SupremeGoddess Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 I’m loving every song on the record so far, although I wish the transitions were better. They feel a bit harsh some times, but that’s not a big issue. Just wish they’d flow better overall
NOW Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 The way this woman has consistently kept me up waitin', anticipatin', and pacin' to hear her new album after all these years...witchcraft

kweenofxanax Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Kintsugi is a grower not a shower, it’s firmly placed in my top 3 I fear

So does folklore, so does magdalene, so does Pop 2. What Lana just put out? And what she’s been putting out after NFR/Chemtrails? Mama that is garbage Sis, you just listed a bunch of accessible and acclaimed albums from popular artists. The metacritic score of gay-friendly acclaimed "alternative" records doesn't give you all the knowledge known to mankind to discern everything about "rich, melodically complex songs". Which, btw, doesn't mean anything. There's nothing "complex" about 90% of the albums you've just listed, and you perfectly know (I hope) where's the right 10% of the ""complexity"". Which, ironically, is the last album you could think of before trying to make a point.

suburbannature Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Not Melodrama being complex Those sharks they have big teeth. And they'll bite you!
