Wow the things we have to read on this website. How did people skip a 3x Platinum album? Most successful albums these days are certified around this range and they take longer than 30 to get there lol 

 

30 failed to keep momentum. And that’s because Adele gave us a load of promo during its release month and the festivities season and then went MIA for most of 2022. What did the fans get? Hyde Park and a BRIT performance; no more videos, songs sent to radio, no interviews, no tour, just the residency controversy. 30 did really good with how little effort she put and I guess the fans have learned that Adele will keep doin the bare minimum for these things. Unfortunately she reached her peak, she was dissatisfied with that level of success and she’s slowly backtracking from it. There’s nothing to drag, because we can clearly see it’s her choice. We’ll be lucky if we get a new album before this decade is over lol
