fridayteenage Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 they sure love re-releasing and re-packaging beatles albums.
iHype. Posted May 27, 2017 Author Posted May 27, 2017 120K is respectable for Bryson. Trapsoul has done 1.6 million to date, and that had 2 big Urban hits supporting it while this album is yet to have any hit. Halsey's album will probably do similar numbers (albeit higher pure sales). Badlands has done 1.2 million to date.
Jwoww310 Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 First of all HDD didn't even include Shakira in its Coming Release list. Pure Sales El Dorado will sell about 35K-45K with SPS 45K-52K
Green Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Shakira is not going top 5 with those numbers. They didn't even mentioned her. It could be 40k or less for all we know

BlackAura Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 I thought Shakira was a streaming & facebook followers artist ? No one expects her to sell albums!

Hivy Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Guys stop coming for Shakira. Good on her for doing so well in this climate
I.T. Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 It's a Spanish album pls tell me the last Spanish album that opened with more than 100+
EtherealCat Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Just now, Destiny said: Sis... she ain't even gonna do 80k will she even go top 5 in the world's biggest music market? I don't know if you're a troll but you're just making yourself look ignorant if you're not. The biggest Spanish language stars in the US, by far, are Shakira, Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin, Shakira's last Spanish sold 46k in 2010, Enrique's last sold 24k in 2014 and Ricky's 25k in 2015. Add to that her being 40 now and nobody in their right mind would be confident in her selling even half of 80k.

I'd say she's doing just fine.
Truth Teller Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Girls... NOBODY expected (or should have expected) over 50k for a spanish album with no US radio support and zero promo. Even if she does 30k, it's still fine. Let's not act brand new. Chantaje's success alone has already exceeded all expectations for this era 1 minute ago, Yellowfever said: Lil yachty is #8 and Shakira is #2 on iTunes tho Yachty's pure sales are terrible. Shakira will probably outsell him. But the streams will give him the edge
