i love this song so much but i'm just so pessimistic. i don't think this will stand the test of christmas songs and will probably start dropping a lot in a week or so.  we need this to be a hit so miss Gags takes the hint for LG7

Of course it will, sis. And it's okay. This is just a viral song having a moment. Not a RUTH kind of phenomenon helped by an insane plot of a TV show.

it will probably go down after the coming peak, however it will countinue to generate a LOT of streams even after the viral moment is gone. i don't see BTW dropping below 2 million for a long time to come

Yeah even when this was over the virality of BTW tracks recently has really helped the album. It was struggling on streaming before this.

Of course it will eventually peak and fall but Judas wasn’t anywhere near as viral as this and is still reaching new peaks of 600k plus and Government Hooker was like semi viral and is still sitting at like ~120k. So its future recurrent streams will still be high for a long time. I wouldn’t be surprised if it eventually becomes third most streamed track from BTW on Spotify.

I think you’re forgetting about Running Up That Hill  I don’t think anything will surpass that for the foreseeable.

 

But from other TikTok hits I think Enchanted by Taylor Swift was Top 50 but I’m not sure what its peak daily streams were? It’s Christmas time so streams are higher so Bloody Mary would be peaking a lot higher any other time of the year. Also Enchanted hit Top 10 on US Spotify and Bloody Mary hasn’t even charted there yet so hopefully if (or when) the US gets on board it’ll peak a lot higher. Like 90% of its streams are global atm.
