You do realize that the tracking week is over so there is nothing she could have done about it?

Taylor would definitely know better

and you know exactly I meant if Taylor was that close to no.1

she would’ve made herself no.1

Everything I said was “if and would”

you could’ve chosen to understand and not bother saying “tracking week”

The oths’ ability to prove their lack of intelligence over and over again will never not be funny...

Tell that to Taylor’s elementary school lyrics

Her song is a legit hit . with longevity.. another week at #1 without tricks this time..she deserves the top spot

I don’t disagree now that she has the least low points

like it’s the only moderate hit in the top 10

Without tricks? So we are just gonna ignore the remix she released the last minute to all platforms? :dies:

Only on her website for 10 hours before the tracking week ends.. And Drake released a low budget fun recap video for Rich Flex the last minute to keep the streaming high before the release of the official video (if he has one ready)..

Does this count for this week or next week?

On streaming it was released at the start of next week.

On her website it was available for the last 10 hours or so of this week

Oh, now I see why the sales estimations jumped from 8k to 28k  :deadbanana2:

Rich Flex would have been #1 without that last minute Anti-hero remix :dies:

Not so sure about this cause other predictions have bigger difference in points for taylor and Drake so maybe anti-hero would have been #1 even without the last minute remix push...but we still don't know how the new formula works.we will see what it's gonna happen..

Rich Flex feels like the biggest song in the US the last 2 weeks, and would have been #1 on the Hot 100 if not for these tactics. If Rich Flex never goes to #1, the only silver lining is that Billboard will make more changes to the Hot 100 after the holidays (beginning with the 1/14/2023 chart) to close the mid-week remix loophole and make sure nothing like this happens again.

A song that has 2k sales and almost zero radio points is not the biggest song in the US right now.. the only power for the song is the streaming numbers ..but streaming is not the only factor for hot 100

I know I say this with bias as a swiftie, but I have legitimately not heard that song once - be it radio or through socials like tiktok or Instagram. While I can agree the last minute remixes are a shady tactic, in truth Rich Flex doesn’t feel big to me at all (but perhaps this is just the way the algorithm has been skewed to my tastes)

Way 2 Sexy felt much bigger than Rich Flex and In My Feelings cannibalizes both in popularity.

Kinda off topic but Drake releases do not feel as culturally big anymore like they did before, Certified Lover Boy had an excellent run on the charts, but culturally felt shallow compared to Views and Nothing Was The Same that were MOMENTS. His releases used to feel like events and his hits used to feel monumental and inescapable, now it feels like people will chat about his releases for a week or two and then move on to the next. His streaming #s are solid, don't get me wrong, but his hit songs post-Scorpion have not had that same cultural reset feel like they used to.

Rich Flex is no One Dance, Hotline Bling or In My Feelings. I remember how inescapable those songs were, even my out-of-touch Boomer parents knew those songs.

I agree that streaming isn't the only factor-- but we no longer live in an era where a song being popular among the audience causes it to rise on radio. so the radio metric is busted and only based on pay-to-play. and we no longer live in an era where people download songs on itunes. I'd say when it comes to pure audience demand, yes rich flex is the biggest song in the country right now.

You never give up, huh? :dies:

It was supposed to be #1 for the last two weeks had Taylor not pulled last minute tricks to stay #1. The three metrics cant be balanced out the same when the song is new.

Drake & 21 Savage - Rich Flex
      10.15

+0.77

Its growing on radio, this is not "zero radio airplay" :toofunny2:

These quick lil weeks AH stayed at #1 will always be remembered as fraud weeks.

You think the issue is that you’re biased but it’s actually that anecdotal evidence is meaningless.

AH will be remembered as a multi-week #1 hit by the people that matter which is most of the world.  :heart2:

I wonder how many weeks Mariah will get this year. She's coming in strong af with the song way outperforming last year :jonny:

It would feel so wrong if Rich Flex doesn't get the #1. This feels like Drake's biggest hit since In My Feelings. Even radio seems to be getting on board with this.

Countless big hits peak at #2 (or even lower), he'll be fine. Didn't Hotline Bling peak at #2?

OT: Anti-Hero smash :clap3:

Probably 4. First week would be December 2nd - 8th.

That #1 race might be close. The 3 weeks after she will clearly get

So that would put her only 2-3 or so years away from snatching her record back from Lil Nas X :jonny:

As if the GP has any idea which song went #1 or what even the Billboard Hot 100 chart is :rip:

Stan culture, the ones who actually care about charts, will always remember Taylor's desperation :heart2:
