This is horrible. The school's response was unacceptable. Teachers are some of the most protected workers ever...to the point that LOTS of abuse they do towards kids gets ignored. It's really scary.

The right is attacking lgbt people in schools right now and painting them as groomers. “Basically calling us pedos” and under the guise of internet stories. I have even seen people use digital black face on Reddit backing right views. You have to be careful on that site.

This is such a BS story. The timeline doesn’t make sense and if it’s real, she’s a terrible mother. 
 

With that said, someone at my school did go through something this.

I remember it being a topic of conversation within circles. The teacher would always pay special attention to him, had each other’s phone numbers, and went of the way to “help” him with college. Some people suspected they were already together but apparently he asked out the student during graduation season. The student apparently declined (he told people) and kids at the time laughed it off as him using the teacher to get into college. I never knew what happened after graduation, but it always grossed me out.

But In this case it does because it’s so obvious what the poster is insinuating.

 

I had a female journalism teacher who would always take me to dinner, took me to her house, and would sponsor me to go to conferences. I never saw it as grooming nor did my parents or classmates.

 

But because this is a same sex teacher, now that term is being tossed around with direct intent.

I disagree. It's more of like the teachers misusing and abusing their authority over the students. The teacher could be bisexual, but we don't know that since his gender was mentioned nowhere on the OP
