H100: Anti-Hero 3x #1, Drake debuts 8 songs in top 10

The Hot 100 is a cumulative chart.

You earn points from three metrics — sales, streaming, and airplay.

If you don’t like that, look at the individual charts for each metric. You can decide your #1 that way. That goes for everyone, Swifties included.

But the Hot 100 #1 is what it is. Taylor overperformed in 1 metric and did great in the other 2 metric. Drake overperformed in 1 metric and did… poor in the other 2. Seems like she earned her stay.

Say that to your fellow base, thanks!

Did you not read where I said “Swifties included” ? :ahh: I do say it to them. I say it to everyone.

I really dont get what you are talking about. Rihanna didnt sell much last week.

And while I think sales are weighted too high currently, if you sell 327k then going #1 is fine

I can literally quote dozens of posts from last week of you guys saying streams are what makes hirs organic and deserving of #1. Seems like the tune has changed that's all. Imo taylor hasn't had the most popular song in the country at any given time since 1989. But that's just my opinion

Thats a really weird opinion :rip:

What is the most popular song currently? Unholy?

Or is it fine for Drake to debut at #1 and then fade but not for Taylor

What was the most popular song the last 2 weeks?

LWYMMD was legitimately deserving of #1 as is Anti-Hero for at least the two weeks before this one. The only week it hasn't been arguably is this one, but Drake's persona has taken a misogynistic nosedive so no1curr. :sistrens:

The only one that's actually questionable is willow. But when compared to others like Trollz, Life Goes On, and Stuck With U from that same year, it's harmless.

I just saw that Taylor's full BB200 updates was:

2. (-1) Midnights

19. (+8) folklore

23. (+14) Red TV

25. (+14) Lover

36. (+25) 1989

50. (+38) evermore

70. (+16) reputation

105. (+47) Fearless TV

124. (+35) Speak Now

How on earth are all her old albums gaining that much 3 weeks after Midnights was released? When you look at the streaming numbers, her catalogue is basically moving the same amount of streams compared to last week. So, are all these increases pure sales related? :deadbanana4:

Me Porto Bonito and Late Night Talking go recurrent:

About Damn Time is #48 this week, She Had Me at Heads Carolina is #45, and it is unknown if The Kind of Love We Make survived.

Thanks. I have to think if not for the remix (and subsequent performance on the CMA), SHMAHC would have certainly fell below the 50 and went recurrent.

LNT going recurrent, that was fast.

24 weeks is pretty good.. Music for a sushi restaurant probably won't even touch 20 weeks .this is disappointing

Rihanna stans being angry because that limp flop ballad got blocked :toofunny3: She's been left in the 2010s, deal with it babes. Drake is also on the way out, his last album bombed and he had to lean on 21 Savage for this one. Taylor is the future. This hurts some people's feelings, I understand. But it's a fact.

Do we know if the formula was changed at all?

Or was it just speculated.

Apparently there is no way the lower Drake album tracks would have been this high with the old formula

#2 debut and #7 in the 3rd week (moving up 15 spots from Week 2) is far from flopping. Lift Me Up is actually holding up very well.

Please, let "I'm Good (Blue)" finally reach the Top 10 next week.

LMU is holding up way better than I thought (I know the movie came out this week, but still).

BUBBLING UNDER
#1. Joji - Feeling Like the End (DEBUT)
#2. Lainey Wilson - Heart Like A Truck (-1)
#3. Joji - Before the Day is Over (DEBUT)
#4. Quavo and Takeoff - Messy (+9)
#5. Joji - NIGHT RIDER (DEBUT)
#6. Luke Combs - Going, Going, Gone (+2)
#7. BRELAND - For What It's Worth (+9)
#8. Joji - 1AM FREESTYLE (DEBUT)
#9. Joji - Dissolve (DEBUT)
#10. P!nk - Never Not Gonna Dance Again (DEBUT)
#11. King Combs and Kodak Black - Can't Stop Won't Stop (-9)
#12. Joji - YUKON (INTERLUDE) (re-entry)
#13. Noah Kahan - Stick Season (-4)
#14. Dean Lewis - How Do I Say Goodbye? (-4)
#15. Rauw Alejandro and Baby Rasta - PUNTO 40 (-12)
#16. Joji - BLAHBLAHBLAH DEMO (DEBUT)

Joji totally owning the Bubbling Under with 7 of the Top 16. I can’t help but to wonder how much bigger his album would have been, and how many songs would have made the Hot 100, if Joji had released this earlier. Joji clearly waited way too long to release the album.
