Swifties were complaining all last week about Rihanna trying to “steal” #1 from Taylor, but now that Taylor does the same to Drake they don’t see anything wrong with it :deadbanana4:

Are we really gonna pretend that Rihanna didn’t get dragged for the cheap antics like the instrumental version and the Wakandan lyric video :rip: it happened one week ago, it’s still fresh on everyones memories.

I am sure they are fresher in your memory since it was YOU who made it, along with other threads.

So maybe ask YOURSELF what is the big deal...

I don’t really understand the problem here: if a singer puts a song on the market and she actually sells it… Where is the fraudolency?

She may call herself the Anti Hero but she’s a real one for blocking bad songs by both Drake and Rihanna from going #1. :giraffe:

People asking to remove SALES. The original metric of the Hot 100 that was (and still is) consumer driven. :deadbanana2:

People used to buy physical singles. People used to buy digital singles from iTunes. Now people buy singles from artist’s websites. You can be mad at one person purchasing a song four times but that doesn’t change the fact that a sale is a sale.

Would you remove box office gross from people who see a movie three or four times in theaters? No? They’re paying good money for those tickets, so that money contributes to the gross. The music industry is a business. Money is to be made. It is what it is.

Exactly…. like what’s your point? I dragged Rihanna for it and I dragged Taylor for doing the same :deadbanana4: I stay consistent.

This isn't about Drake at all. It's the fact that an artist can shamelessly release remix after remix after remix after remix and make them online sales only US only exclusives and discount them too.. Chile it's ridiculous just for an extra week :rip:

Truly the Donald Trump of Pop with this America First mentality :lmao:

Drake discounted it for Thursday after Taylor was so desperately doing these paywall ass single remixes.

TBH I have no dog in this race, but I'm gonna call a spade a spade. I streamed Anti Hero a few times this week because Drake and 21 are wrong for badmouthing my girl Thee Stallion, but if you have to pull out all these tactics to secure another week... maybe your song just isn't it?

We were all collectively skulldragging the BTS Butter situation just for your girl do the same, but this is worst cause it seems out of anger.

If Meghan is your girl and now you keep defending Drake this week kinda speak a lot.

As Swifties, we take the drag with Me!  and Willow already. The remixes for Anti Hero is kinda unnecessary consider the song is already serve longevity but this tome she takes on Drake, someone as big as her and have been kinda misogynist lately and kinda provoke her by initial releasing a week after her then postpone to release on her 3rd week. So lets go to war.

The song is garbage but love her for blocking Drake :celestial4:

She sold multiple versions of the exact same song; just with different cover. (Which Willow also wrongfully did :rip: )

She uploaded TEN videos of the same exact song.

At least anti-hero offered 5 unique remixes and wasnt selling the same **** in 5 different boxes. At least anti-hero wasn’t OUT of the top 30 on major streaming platforms. At least anti-hero wasn’t skyrocketing up the radio faster than actual hit songs.

Lift Me Up got 26m streams last week vs Anti-Hero’s 36m. This week, Rich Flex is aiming for 60m streams vs Anti-Hero’s 30m.

Anti-Hero is basically doing what Lift Me Up did on streaming last week, but somehow Taylor’s tricks are justified :deadbanana4:

exactly Drake, the artist who wrote, performed, and created this song isn't. who gaf about what his fans think

Taylor was the only one of the two artists who was desperate at getting that #1 spot

And she got it, so why are YOU so upset about it? It should be us Swifties being mad at Taylor for making us waste our hard-earned money on her. If your fave is as organic and clueless about chart success then you shouldn't be throwing a tantrum here :coffee2: yet here you are :coffee2:

It's the hypocrisy that bothers me. Like I don't even care for Drake to be blocked (I just dragged him last week for what he did to Megan) but all the mental gymnastics to justify Taylor's chart antics after they spent the whole last week dragging Rihanna are amusing after they were so worried about the "integrity of the chart" last week  :deadbanana4:

Rihanna was OUT-OUT of Spotify and Apple Music’s Top 30, those streams were from the TEN audio videos on YouTube of the same exact song. Anti-Hero is pulling its streams organically, the remixes weren’t even on Spotify until last night — the last 2 hours of the tracking week.

And she is not selling digital alternative covers. So it’s not the same.

for what it’s worth though I personally never dragged Rihanna. In fact I defended her from some swifties most of last week. It’s just that her antics didn’t pay off and her chart points weren’t as balanced.

Please tell me you are joking :ahh:

Since when is it normal to release a bunch of remixes, acoustic versions AND discount them all for a limited availability during a week where someone was obviously gonna lose the #1 spot? :rip: the NERVE to make it seem like a regular thing. Not even BTS were this desperate :toofunny3:

Dua did it but got audited. Didn't yall gather together to mass buy it? There was even a banner.

Every artist here gets dragged for chart stunts, Taylor already has 4 threads calling her desperate and pathetic but y'all still whine she's not "GeTTiNg draGgaed enough"

I hope you all realize the people dragging Rihanna were doing so because she was FORCING A SONG NO ONE WAS LISTENING TO :deadbanana2:

Anti-Hero was #1 on Spotify global all of last week, people were clearly still listening to it. No remixes on Spotify at all contributed to this for the entire week mind you.

Nope, she's just claiming what's hers. Drake should've released next year.

It wasn’t “hers” to claim and that’s why she desperately released remixes and acoustic versions to compete, there is no excuse for these embarrassing antics especially when the song already went #1. :skull:

If it was another artist she was blocking with these fraudulent moves then It would be a problem, but Drake deserves it after shading Megan so whatever I guess.

People comparing LMU to Anti-Hero as if LMU isn’t out of the Top 20 on most platforms yet is still sitting pretty at #2 lmao

Yeah Anti-Hero is not sitting with Butter, Lift Me Up, or hell even willow (even though this had great streaming positions in addition to big sales and decent radio).

Anti-hero is obviously a song people are consuming; the remixes are just boosts.

LMU and Butter were songs the GP was NOT consuming.

Exactly. The way only Taylor is allowed to manipulate the charts with these cheap tricks but anyone else doing it is a fraud :toofunny3:

She was OUT at the end of week, but still had enough from the first few days to do 26m streams. The Hot 100 doesn’t care about longevity throughout the week so its chart position on Thursday is largely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Regardless, why are multiple streams of the same song a problem but multiple sales (even if released as a “remix”) completely fine?

Let’s also not act like Taylor hasn’t done the digital covers either. She has. Which is why it’s so funny to see how Swifties (not necessarily you) defend her when she manipulates the chart but drags other artists when they do it. Literally hypocrites :deadbanana4:

Greedy af for no reason.. releasing 6 $0.59 US exclusive sales only remixes :rip: Desperation.

Good..I hope she sells 10 more remixes every week till christmas at $0.29

But really how do we know she sold 140K from her store?! I mean this amount is beyond this world!

I'm now afraid for week 4, he is still having 15 (!) songs above her on AM and still quite a lead on Spotify, how the hell she's gonna do it on week 4?

It’s so funny to me that these artists have the billboard charts on their minds constantly
