Seems like every user who hasn't listened to Midnights is getting intrusive pop-up advertisements asking them to stream the album in full??

This is.. certainly a new low :skull: Thoughts?

Admittedly, I saw this today.

:deadbanana4:

That said, it’s smart. All Pop Girls should utilise this method and send in that cheque.

Midnights broke several records on spotify so this should be GRANTED :clap3:

Now get to streaming the rest of the 35% of the album :giraffe:

She is the abusive mother I never had, she is the sister everybody would hate. She is the friend that no one deserves. I don’t know a worse person.

The album is still doing more streams daily than some artists manage with their first day. This so called 'payola' is deserved

At least it's not like your fave that was hoarding the browsing page on Spotify only to debut with 40m streams like be ffr now :rip:

Not embarrassing. Taylor Swift is allowed to do this.

It’s Taylor Swift’s world and we’re just living in it :sosad:

Also why wouldn't spotify push their biggest female act? Y'all get bothered over the simplest of things anymore. :rip:

Posted

Here come the Swifties convincing themselves that this isn't incredibly desperate :rip: and if any other artist did this, you would agree

As she should. She’s the most popular artist on their platform atm and her album smashed. The promo is deserved :clap3:

Posted

Well she’s keeping the platform afloat, they should be thankful, also this is the least they could do after the shitty playlisting they’ve been giving her ever since she let them put her discography back after all that begging...

It's not desperate when it works

Comments like this and in others threads just show most of you only stan success. :skull: it’s not the first time today I’ve seen people say it’s ok for Taylor, when most would be dragging other girls.

Taylor continues to prove the only likeable thing about her is sale numbers.

Spotify has always supported MASSIVE, unprecendented music events with creative marketing. It's a win-win so I don't see the problem :celestial5:

She and her business mind are always ahead of time :clap3:

That’s not what payola is or how it works, bb.

She has been demolishing every record on the platform and they’re rewarding her for it. Unlike others who had massive payola upon their album release and still bombed, pulling 10M less streams first day than Midnights’ 19th(?) day

Do you guys have the same "Youtube shorts" promo popping up in your country as well?

She's literally holding her cat asking people to join her "challenge" on Australian youtube. It is so cringe and you can't skip it :rip:  serving gaga 2011 0.87cents album teas :rip:

i got a pop up that said i was in the first like, 65% to listen to the new album but the only song I listened to on release was the lana song and isn't 65% like the majority of users :ahh:
