publikcitizen Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 Nooooo! Ugh I needed that final season to wrap everything up
Diesel Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 **** them. Season 5 was supposed to be the last one
WildAmerican Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 I'M FREEEEE i haven't liked this show since s2 but felt compelled to keep watching. but i'm free now!
Vermillion Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 There's going to be a lot of conspiracies written here, but I blame about 75% of this on the Discovery-Warner merger. The show objectively had gone downhill in quality and viewers, but when you compare to other series, there's bigger forces at work here.

mystery Posted November 4, 2022 Author Posted November 4, 2022 People will blame Zaslav but main HBO has been pretty much left to its own devices and the show has been a complete trainwreck for the last two seasons. Literally nobody tuned in or discussed it in the way they did for the first season. Should have just been a miniseries.

lander Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 This show peaked on its first season tbh 2 was ok but the rest are TRASH.
Mariah's Glove Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 I can’t say I’m sad about this. Season 4 went off a cliff and blew up like the ******* Hindenburg in the last 3 episodes. The ending was one of the most rushed, strangest things I’ve ever seen after a great start to the season. they lost what made it a once amazing, must watch tv series and turned it into a CW/Sci Fi channel-esque mess that had no stakes as as soon as someone died they came back as the terminator. it was clear they had no idea how to wrap up any of the characters, so I can’t imagine S5 would be any better.
Godly Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 I mean the first season was pretty great and a smasha but it massively fell off right after that, so it's not that surprising

Miles. Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 Oh, that's too bad. I've only watched the first 1.5 seasons but I always meant to catch up. To those who've watched the whole thing, is it worth finishing? Does the season 4 finale work as a series finale?

To be honest I think Season 4 actually works as an ending, it is a conclusion if anything. It was better off ending with Season 1 and that brilliant finale though.
Gossip_Boy Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 This should’ve always been a one season limited series.

Can’t believe this show lasted as long as it did. HBO is also trash for cancelling Raised Among Wolves despite critical acclaim.
Eóghan Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 WHAT ABOUT THE ART MOTHERFUCKERS!! I'm so pissed right now. Now we're left hanging without an ending for a show we were invested in for 4 ******* seasons!! and so close to the end ... HBO has gone downhill so fast. In the past even if the ratings were the pits they would've left art talk and let them end the story for a final few episode. Like let them do a 2 part mini-season episode at least. The fact the renewal talks were ongoing for the past 2 months according the showrunners and that's the result? **** this.
