Amazing numbers as expected, the wild guess here is how it’s going to hold up in the upcoming days/weeks

It still has the film debut to help keep it up. And the second song will help it a bit.

Exactly + hopefully radio picks it up and helps it stay stable. I also have a feeling Born Again is going to be even better :duca:

Wouldn’t this be the biggest debut for a soundtrack song ?

It just launched with a massive pop radio debut I think they are treating this as her comeback :dies:

Highly doubt it. These are people with sense not machines. It's just excitement for new Rihanna and BP soundtrack.

But everyone is waiting for the album and super bowl and there is a nervousness about whether the album is even coming meaning it's release will still be a huge comeback

If it's more mainstream, more Diamonds and less Stay then maybe.

Rih jumped on the list :camping:

This would be a really big debut if it’s accurate!

Why are people pretending it’s not?!

Some of y’all are just plain annoying.

Yeah a ~10 million increase. So 8.2M for the normal version and 1.5M for the instrumental.... Is accurate

People are really dragging these numbers? :deadbanana4:

Can't wait when people start switching :ahh:

ATRL will switch of course, but these numbers don’t make the song any better at all.

amazing if true :jonny4:

and people who are trying to downplay this are stupid AF

8M unfiltered would be the second biggest female debut two weeks ago and is usually enough for #1. I don't think this should be compared to Be Alive or Carolina for many reasons but it's also not her lead single

BTS was doing 22m and Drake over 29m, so the increase should be something between 10 to 17 million. Amazing :clap3:

Yeah, they obviously have no idea what they're talking about.

Why is there a thread with numbers when there are, in fact, no numbers published?

The song is great unlike certain other blockbuster soundtrack singles released this year:coffee2:

It’s maybe better than Carolina, I agree.

Because the source is accurate...

Many people were expecting 10M+ the way Naurvy has been hyping her return. This is poor. Probably goat vocal impact.

Don’t worry, she has already had the biggest radio debut of the year. And she did it without 63 versions.

It’s mainly Taylor Swift fans.

These are good numbers. If Rih dropped an EDM banger, it would have huge replay value and the GP would eat it up. This song is mostly for the arts (Oscars) and not charts!

Yeah, this is objectively underwhelming. It has 6-year hype, the biggest radio deal of the year, massive playlisting (more than As It Was, EOM, Anti-Hero's first day :deadbanana2:) and it's RIHANNA, who is supposed to excel with streams.

There's no defending this and no amount of excuses will make it seem better.

Check on the long run how this song will destroy your fave numbers after the fa base of Tay stop buying and streaming the Midnights songs.
