Well most, if not all(?) of the Top 10 debuts this year were from Taylor’s Midnights debut day, as all 13 of the standard tracks pulled 9M+ streams or more first day. I know you can chalk it up to the hype of her comeback from a musical hiatus + being attached to what WILL be the biggest film of 2022, but it’s still wildly impressive for a soundtrack song to debut on par with actual singles. And BP is not what the GP would associate with Rihanna so 10+ was a crazy prediction. This is still a really great debut for a soundtrack gig in recent times.
