Tbh it's hard to even call it country - it's more of a folk ballad to me. Which is further evident from the fact that Country radio has taken forever to support it despite the extremely impressive streams (it's only #50 as of today and its bullet isn't even that great). 

He’s an outsider to the Nashville mafia that control country radio and they resent him for it. He’s also rising very quickly and will be a superstar. He will be the one to displace Morgan Wallen, just watch. And he’s more credible.
