Popular Post Klein Posted May 11 Popular Post Share Posted May 11 Just came back from my Taylor retreat where I was lucky enough to be at Paris N1. It was simply incredible. I was GAGGED the moment I saw the Red box. From that point on it really felt like I didn't know anything about the show cause she really kept me on my toes. The new pacing of the show is really excellent from my experience. It flows really really great and keeps people really excited all throughout with no moments of low energy, even during the new folkmore set. Btw, I thought I would be pissed about it, but it makes for a much better experience tbh. Offering a time to breathe in the middle of a show full of bangers was very much needed. I still left completely exhausted from the screaming and crying and dancing. My voice has barely recovered yet. I used to "hate" the Red set (or think that it's the weakest one of the tour). But experiencing the hits in person just makes for an amazing experience. The energy is so so high it was so much fun. I also thought Reputation would be the set that would make people go the craziest, but it was actually the 1989 set. I barely could hear her The new TTPD set is a masterpiece. The re-orchestrations, the visuals, the props, even the new stage designs... and her voice!!! The setlist is excellent too. And WAOLOM is honestly the best moment of the entire show. It looks, sounds, and feels absolutely amazing. She really put everything into it and I'm so grateful that the best song on the album got the best treatment of the entire tour imo. The Smallest Man with the marching band was also incredible. And that ICDIWABH performance is such a crowd pleaser a MOMENT. Surprise songs wise, well I'm not surprised I got Paris. I was annoyed at the beginning but the crowd was really happy about it so that made it great. And then I died for loml. We won so hard for this one. Simply put, best night of my life. The show is just something else in person. Thank you Taylor for this moment.
