It’s even beating Lavender Haze and Midnight Rain

I still believe Midnight Rain could be a single. However at this point that there’s so much content it is being sacrificed. After IION and before Reputation TV, I hope she can release Midnight Rain, or another 1989 TV vault (my hope is SDG). However Cruel Summer will probably be the linking single between 1989 TV and rep TV because it will outlast IION :rip:

I really hope midnight rain gets its time to shine, and continue to keep midnights the album in the top 10 until TS11 comes out. Hopefully in Q1 2024 when CS settles more.

It’s wild how a million physical sales in a week was wild and now a million streams in a week is weak. So she said ok then I’ll do a billion

Mainly because we aren't allowed to open threads about her streaming numbers unless it's some next level achievement. :gaycat6:

We shouid  ignore that rule just like everyone else does,

I mean there's a thread right now combining YouTube streams with spotify streams to add up to 2.5 billion , how is that thread worthy?:deadbanana:

Except that rule was implemented specifically for Taylor since there were 2/3 achievements threads a day and OTH mods couldn't live with it. :gaycat6:

Which I find highly ironic given that it's primarily the Taylor threads that actually drive the traffic on this website :deadbanana2:

Like surely the mod in question (I'm sure it's just the one that we're thinking of) can get over his Taylor hate for an extra few thousand ads run per day, right? :khalyan:

Being a OTH is a weird state of mind, it trumps logic and common sense :ryan3:

I guess we can't expect rationality from users whose entire purpose (institutionalizing Taylor hatred) on this website defies logic in the first place :ryan3:

They were only too happy all these years to ignore Taylor and consider Gaga/Rihanna/Katy to be the "queens of pop" or whatever but now deep inside they know the truth and it's driving them crazy :ryan3:

God forbid the girl from the indie Nashville label ended up lapping the real "queens of pop" :ryan3:

Yup! And that girl from Nashville has outsold many of them's entire careers this year alone. But she doesn't have colorful wigs or meat dresses so she has no impact and is a flop apparently :ryan3:

Glad to see you get it :ryan3:

The number of colorful wigs and meat dresses a pop star wears in her career is the direct arbiter for how much success she deserves
