When are we going to talk about the fact august is still smashing... in October? :deadbanana4:

yeah this is kinda wild kfdjk like looking back, it generally hovered around 9-12 in daily streams, got pushed down for a while by SNTV, obvs got a boost in august, and now almost 5 weeks after it reasonably should've lost that boost, its still top 5 daily :skull:

i wonder if, depending on how her release schedule is next year considering rep/debut TV and possibly ts11 are in the works, it could pull a CS :jonny6:

I would be here for august getting a Cruel Summer type of run, but with a MV this time. That'd be amazing.

I didn't expect CS to still be above 4M streams a day this late into the year. With the movie coming out, I guess it'll get another bump before 1989TV tracks bump it down? Unless it holds strong and keeps a top 5 spot into winter.

I still can't believe the permanent boost she got from the Eras Tour, no one could've seen that coming :rip:

Serious question for all Swifties: when do you think her daily Spotify numbers will go down? Don't get me wrong, i'm LOVING those daily numbers but there has to be a point when it won't be as high every day, right?

Which is why i asked the question: when do we think her numbers will decline? I'm LOVING her recurring numbers but i also know it can't last forever unfortunately. I'm dreading the moment it'll go down for good :rip:

Well we have the film and 1989TV and the TS11 surprise release to carry us through the end of the year. I imagine there will probably be a dip in January, but once the tour starts again in February, things should be pretty consistently gigantic through the rest of the tour and the releases of the re-recordings. I imagine Taylor will want to take a bit of a break at some point, which is when I think her numbers will cool down to a certain degree, but her catalogue is so large and so widely beloved that I seriously doubt she'll go under 60-70M/day again for a very long time.

You're right :clap3:

I think the Eras Tour played an even bigger role than we thought when it comes to putting her entire discography into the general consciousness. Her catalogue has been solidified as "legendary" essentially, which could indeed contribute to give her huge numbers in the future even once her overall sales start declining again. We'll see what happens in the following 2 years, that'll give us the idea of where things are going.

Cruel Summer outstreaming Anti-Hero is INSANE

It's even crazier when you realize Cruel Summer has room to grow in Germany, Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland

Style being in her top 3 is so deserved but insane

Oh Defecate, the little hit that just never quit!

I will say that watching this climb the airplay charts (and the Hot 100) was like 1/2 of all good things to happen to Swifties in 2018 (the other being tour), so I'm glad she's come this far :jonny5:
