The Scripture of Us being treated like an album track when it was actually a flop single... As for the rest of this, I can't say I'm surprised. Mean aged like one of those bodies at the bottom of Lake Michigan with the concrete shoes (or alternatively, it aged like Bob Lefsetz ), and the fan faves like BTR, Sparks Fly, Dear John, Last Kiss, Haunted, and Ours are slowly eating away at the margins of the originals. It would be nice to see them move a bit faster but I guess we'll take what we can get. The magnitude of the glow up for ITWAM when it didn't even make the album, oh Taylor you will pay for that crime one day. 2

IBeMe Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 (edited) songs that are bound to have a viral moment / revival in the future: Midnight Rain YOYOK False God Guilty As Sin? So It Goes I just FEEL it in my bones that these songs will someday have a Cruel Summer revival (delulu I know) or at least a residency in the 1M daily streams club like Dont Blame Me etc... It does not mean these songs are my favs btw. Some of these I do not really enjoy all that much (actually I am lying I LOVE all of them) but i just know they will have a moment...like it cant not happen Edited December 29, 2024 by IBeMe

I can't see it with So It Goes, it will be buried with the other Rep tracks once the TV comes out. I feel like Maroon, Say Don't Go, Champagne Problems, imgonnagetyouback and Dress will have their moment once the minimalistic pop style comes back in trend in like 5-10 years. Timeless will revive country pop too. Yes I'm delusional. 1
Cruel Summer Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Honestly I'm completely shook that both versions of Love Story are that high, what a ******* classic 2
