naval23 Posted November 12 Posted November 12 This was her "cardigan" after setting the bar so low with "ME" Didn't deserve to be overhated the way it was - it's such a fun bop and the MV is so cute 2

It really affected both YNTCD and Lover's performance on the charts. YNTCD should have been the lead single, Cruel Summer the 2nd, and Lover the 3rd. If they really needed to do ME!, it should have been as the 4th single (which would have been killed off by the pandemic). 1
Letters From Adi Posted November 12 Posted November 12 It's a bit childish but is a certified bop. ME! on the other hand...
Walk_Away21 Posted November 12 Posted November 12 ME! clears this song I fear. The beat is good but the lyrics... 2

There's no world where the perfect rollout for Lover would include ME, YNTCD or The Man. It should have been Cruel Summer, Lover, Death By A Thousand Cuts and Afterglow. Throw in Paper Rings if she wanted to release another bop. 3 2
Klein Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Anyway, on topic, YNTCD is the absolute proof that the Gaylor conspiracy theory is garbage, because literally no queer person would have ever wrote this as a LGBT anthem. So that's a positive thing it has going for it. 8

byzantium Posted November 12 Posted November 12 It's wild to think that only two years ago she only had 2 songs with more than 1 billion streams.
PurrKaty Posted November 12 Posted November 12 24 of the 31 songs off TTPD have now crossed 100M streams. Here's the remaining 7 and their current numbers. The Albatross - 99,146,343 thanK you aIMee - 97,003,498 The Bolter - 95,668,558 I Look In People's Windows - 87,043,360 Cassandra - 84,253,569 The Manuscript - 68,500,277 Robin - 61,487,904 The Albatross should cross 100M in about a week, thanK you aIMee and The Bolter should both cross 100M in December.
Michael196 Posted November 12 Posted November 12 It would be insane if out of everything, this is the one to actually breakout from the album, even if it doesn't reach DBM or August's level. And even if it's not in my top 10, I'd take anything if it means for evermore to pick up some steam… 5
