the 1989tv breakdown after only 9 months is ridiculous and that's despite the ttpd sabotage

and bb being in the bottom 6 and could potentially get surpassed by the remix...

The TVs always stream weird but 1989 TV is such a weird album in terms of Spotify consumption :deadbanana4:

Yeah it usually takes the singles a while to catch up (I mean the big Red singles are finally gaining ground over the originals) but SIO original out streaming the TV at a 3:1 ratio seems insurmountable:suburban:

Well maybe if her label actually replaced the OGs that still have huge Spotify reach it would help

I thiiiiink at this point most official Spotify playlists have shifted over (only exceptions being the decade specific playlists, where they've seemingly kept the versions from the respective decade, which I guess makes sense?), and on her official This Is Taylor Swift playlist where there are like 4 (of 180) non-Taylor's Versions of songs that have been re-recorded. For songs like Blank Space and Shake It Off where there is a gap, the TV is listed first when you search it, and at least in my experience, every radio/autoplay track is a re-recording. I think the streaming difference really comes down to individual users having the old versions in their playlists (or actively choosing them over the TVs), and there's little that can be done about that without really pissing off Shamrock and probably causing a lot of legal trouble over competitivity :gaycat6:

The reason why 1989 OG is still doing good numbers is because of Spotify playlisting, i wish her team would do something about it :suburban:

You sadly can't really expect a post album release single to do well these days, unless there is a remix or some other hook.
