Given that top 2, rooting for Cruel Summer to take the #1 eventually. DSN was always a bit boring to me and I don't actively seek out Dance Monkey anymore.

The TTPD effect on her back catalogue has been pretty rough :gaycat6:

Kinda the worst songs from their respective discographies on literally all accounts. Genuinely a tragic list

Blah blah blah, chart placements, charting streaks, sales figures, tour revenue, merch revenue, album variants... every topic on Taylor revolves around numbers, money and beating everyone else. It's so boring and depressing. Like are we supposed to be impressed or shocked that the billionaire white pop star has nabbed ANOTHER consumption record lol

Would love to hear more about how her fans interpret her art, but sometimes it feels like most Swifties stan her wealth and success more than anything else

not this song coming for Shallow and Bad Guy too and already surpassed 7 Rings.

Funny thing: Shallow, 7 Rings and Bad Guy all peaked at #1 in 2019, the year Cruel Summer released.

Why did I think of Cool for the summer reading cruel summer? I truly don't get how that song became so popular. It's probably the only big song I don't know the words to if you'd play it
