Well deserved :clap3:

I hope it can get #1 for solo female artists eventually, if anyone can beat Dance Monkey it's Taylor.

Yeah, it's annoying. I love Taylor to death but sometimes i REALLY don't understand what's going on in her mind, especially knowing how hungry she is for success. Why the hell isn't she releasing a second single  for TTPD?? The album is still doing so well :rip:

It's so insane how her debut country album is doing so close to 1M daily :rip:

I don't think they'll release a second single at all

Same. Her statement on release day was giving very much: here's a double album, here's a single with an MV that encapsulates the whole storyline of it, this chapter is boarded up. See ya on tour!

Probably why they're focusing on the album performance so much. When she has multiple singles in mind she plans and even films things in advance (see Midnights), she's also busy touring till December.

I can see a song pushed on radio around Aug/September and that's best case scenario but otherwise just enjoy this era for what it is; a surprise not even us could think was possible during her hectic schedule this past year.

The saddest thing is: that's exactly how i decided to approach this era initially... until the album received mixed reviews and exploded commercially. I was so sure initially that the album would be critically acclaimed but not as much of a success compared to many of her previous albums. The opposite happened instead and that's why i'm frustrated she won't follow up with a second single, the album still has so much potential.

Yeah, she's probably saving the single spot to Rep TV.

Yeah, even her debut album which is mostly forgotten by her own fanbase is doing surprisingly well. It's actually doing better on streaming daily than Gaga's last three studio albums (Artpop, Joanne and Chromatica), just to show how insane that is :deadbanana4:

Fair enough, sorry if i sounded nasty, that wasn't my intention.

Not at all, it's my fault for sounding serious with what I said :dies:

but she's ridiculous for these numbers, especially now that Taylormania isn't at the height it was at last year...

She went from being predicted to end the year with 18 billion tracks and getting to 29 by this time next year, to "only" 15 and 20 respectively

willow & karma going from december to may/june :dies:

5 of these 6 songs are actually iconic: Dance Monkey, Don't Start Now, Bad Guy, Cruel Summer and Driver's License (DM is irritating but I acknowledge its success).

The last one is literally a case of "Ariana what are you doing here?".
