It is gaining momentum in Latin America, yesterday entered top 200 of Spotify in Brazil and Peru and it’s charting high in Philippines and US and charting in Taylor’s Spotify usually markets (UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Malasya, Singapore, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, UAE…)

cardigan and all of folklore started to gain some momentum last summer, got a boost from august and its dolby atmos stems got quite a bit of attention from tiktok both last year and this year

I think it’ll be one of the biggest rerecordings (along with reputation and either SN or Red, maybe even the biggest) due to the sheer power of 1989. But I fear the singles will be the hardest ones to kill compared to Red/Fearless. So it may be less successful in that regard.
 

Oh well, it’ll still be a win-win situation since the new version will smash and probably always outdo the original (most likely) based on album tracks and vault tracks, but the original will stay pulling big enough numbers and not leave the Billboard 200
