Quote

The Final Destination franchise is being retooled with a brand new movie, with Jon Watts (Clown, Cop Car, Spider-Man: No Way Home) on board as producer. Watts is producing the sixth installment of the franchise for HBO Max, with Lori Evans Taylor (“Wicked Wicked Games”) and Guy Busick (Scream 2021) writing Final Destination 6.

As an update today, THR reports that Zach Lipovsky andAdam B. Stein (Freaks) have been brought on board to direct Final Destination 6, with the plot under wraps.

5 was very good ????

Yikes. I think one of the weakest aspects of Scream (2022) was the script. Particularly the dialogue and lack of polishing from early drafts.

I hope he gets this right.

Final Destination 5 was cute with the plot twist, so it'll be interesting to see how they could tie Final Destination 6 in

Final Destination is one of my favourite franchises, it is a concept you can do endlessly. It is one of the rare ones where most of the movies are actually great and on par to the first one. Final Destination 5 was excellent.

As long as they stick to the established rules and "logic" of the franchise. I wouldn't mind if they introduced some new concepts too though. I did like the new Scream so I think we are in good hands.

People don’t watch Final Destination for the dialogue

This is crazy! If they keep this same passion while making the film, we’re in for a ride! :duca:

This has been getting announced multiple times a year for 11 years at this point. I’ll believe it when there’s a trailer.

I love this franchise

The truck with the logs scene was brilliant

Final Destination might be the most consistent horror franchise. Even the weakest entry (4) has its moments. Couldn’t be more excited for this.

I love these movies, they are actually really good.

Anyway this was AP
