As long as radio continues climbing for the next 3 weeks, and daily streams stay above 2M globally.. it should be alright.
bowdown Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 US Hive letting this stall while the global girlies making it smash
bowdown Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 Is the consensus that no music videos were actually filmed? I.e. the visuals released (including the small clips in the I'm That Girl visual) is all that exists?
BnPac Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 (edited) At least in the US it might get helped by radio so even if it peaks at #13, it would chart for a while. That's OK. I wish we could say the same for ww. It's already getting bigger peaks than in the US but I doubt it will sustain as long as in the US. Edited October 19, 2022 by BnPac
family.guy123 Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 So this is flopping now? Was fun while it lasted

Was fun while it lasted It's definitely not flopping, but the virality on TikTok peaked a bit ago, so now it's relying on whatever other methods there are to keep it going (radio, playlists, just people playing it because they love it...).
Flanders Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 nnnnn yesterday this was the DSN of 2023, today we’re apparently calling it quits you guys are the worst

For the tracking week ending the week after Taylor's album release week she'll already be in the top 20 in radio or close to it. Streams won't drop that much by then and she can still release a visualizer, acapella, intrumental and remixes to push its points. And of course the visual if she wants to.

makeme Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Well people are going to call it a smash again once it starts flying up the charts after the album bombs Spoiler Everyone is dragging Midnights right now so the tracks might not hang around forever
Blue Rose Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 The updates have been great. Spotify is obviously never going to reach crazy numbers due to Bey’s laziness. On Apple Music, I think it’s #9 without the album bomb. Hive just needs to stay focused and do more radio requests. The updates could be a lot better but they are still good. Lil Baby and Taylor songs are not going to stick around and I dont see radio picking up another smash until next year. The coast will be clear for CUFF IT from November to Grammys. Bad Habit (the current #1 song) peaked months ago on Tiktok. Steve Lacy’s team was able to get radio on board before the trend and streams started to fade. We were able to get a Pop radio release and amazing playlisting. Even if the trend is cooling down, we already have a liftoff!

Mr. Specialist Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Low Pop radio increases is confusing since the song had the most Pop radio adds for a second consecutive week.
