their label lives by the mantra of little supply = extremely high demand.

 

they put out subpar and minimal content that they package as shiny and luxurious and the fans eat it up, leave them hanging to dry and thirsty for a long time to milk the eventual comeback in 2 years time (which is like 5 years in western pop, a 2 year hiatus in kpop is like katy from prism -> witness)
