Tumblr is kind of the defining social media of the late 2010s. Though it's not as popular as it once was, I think it's what people will associate with that time, like Myspace.

It birthed the revival of 90s fashion, heavily embraced alt leaning pop artists and even influenced sociopolitical discourse. Pretty much what TikTok is now.

No. After 2000 everything became a rehash. People are just simply reminiscing of their child is all. It’s natural. Older Gen Z we’re kids for the 00s and early 10s so it has some impact to them.

 

I think there may be nostalgia for 2009-2012 cause the EDM boom and social media explosion but for the most part no. And it is way too damn soon lol

 

it takes at least 20 years. 80s and 90s is still being rehashed right now and the 70s disco boom too. 
 

We had our moments but we just artistically and fashion wise aren’t as iconic as our parents and grandparents were lol.

We’ll still be in the 000’s nostalgia for awhile. At least until the end of this decade. Once we hit the 30’s and the early 2010’s hits 20 years then the nostalgia will be in full swing. 
 

I can’t imagine some of the fashion trends from the early 10’s making a comeback. But then again everyone now is dressing like it’s 2002.
