I havent felt her since PRISM (I was a fan during TD). But with the right material she could come back BIG and I'd be here for it. She has pleased so many people during the pop peak. Her name has merit to it. But she needs the right song and album.

That'll be Wide Awake. Never Really Over is my favorite song since 2016! But it was initially not meant for Smell and you can tell

The imagery was all themed but not too childlike. Even LFN was more college themed than actual kid themed. Just colorful

ET and California girls seen her most mature I’m. Everything else is kinda eh. Either way teenage dream is good throwback album. It doesn’t mean she should go back to that style. I think something Katy can pull off would be 1950s pine up girl image with rock n roll sounds and dance rock. It’s American and feels natural for Katy. Think movie, hairspray film or even Wanda vision. She can have a cool playful edgy sound and even play colorful imagery.

I’m always here for new Katy music, but I do agree she should change up her image. She could easily to an even more grown up version of the Prism era look and I think it would suit her perfectly.

Wasn't the album cover shot in May 2019? I'm pretty sure it was meant for Smell from the very beginning.

Hopefully she has an idea for her next album that she will stick to. Her albums tend to be disorganised, which is one of the reasons why they don't have a good reception imo.

Dunno, she claimed it was a standalone and then acted like Daisies was Smile's lead despite NRO and HIH having been previously released. As for the second part, she just needs a cool concept to stick a bunch of pop songs together. Zodiac for example, since she loves astrology. Just make a 12-track dance pop album and say each song represents a sign, add cool visuals and she'll be good to go. Planet Her is a bunch of filler-esque sex songs and yet it had all that I said and it got acclaimed.

the camp will stay and you all know it.   Look at that food commercial.  The music has ALWAYS been good tho, so I'm not worried in the slightest about that.  So many success stans "feeling her more" when she's on the charts.   Smile is a great album.
