MusicLoverDude Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 This was a very bad Billboard year. Almost all the good songs didn't chart or didn't get enough points to make year-end. And too many 2021 songs still made it in.
naval23 Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 Radio is way overweighted omg That's What I Want making top 15 year end because it was #9 on radio but missed top 50 on sales and streaming Abcdefu was #5 sales and #13 streaming and #20 on radio and made #17
pride4jc1222 Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Here's how the Year End would look if Billboard decided to make 2022 a 51-week year:
Ger Posted November 2, 2022 Author Posted November 2, 2022 Well, getting closer to the final. Top 20 is pretty much confirmed imo, only changes left is FC finishing inside the Top 5, and WOY surprisingly Top 20.
dabunique Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 Do u think Vegas can get into the top 50, i would love to see her with 5 entries in da top 50

MusicLoverDude Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Still a very shitty Billboard year. I'm glad Super Freaky Girl made it because too many good pop songs underperformed and somehow they let too many country songs with below Top 50 peaks make the year-end (She Likes It, Circles Around This Town, etc) while Light Switch and Left And Right are both going to fall short as well as When You're Gone. Not to mention Avril was done dirty and Taylor's biggest peaks aren't going to count for 2023.
pride4jc1222 Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 How the Year End will look, assuming a 52-week year:
Ger Posted November 10, 2022 Author Posted November 10, 2022 "Shivers" ending up at #5 is going to be such a kii, the song "only" peaked at #4.
Ivan_brit Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 (edited) i see Dua Lipa snatching Top 10 year end for a 3rd consecutive Year Also a lot of song of DOja Cat As It Was feels more like the real #1 sorry, that Heat Waves was big but I feel with less impact Edited November 10, 2022 by Ivan_brit
pride4jc1222 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Another prediction (uses 52 weeks): I’m waiting for a 53-week prediction. If there is, I will post. I hope 2022 is a 53-week year for (1) the Billboard year doesn’t end in September in 25 years time and (2) Anti-Hero doesn’t have the 2023 YE #1 pretty much clinched with just one tracking week.
Sinister Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Cold Heart making the top 10 is the wild one because it peaked low and you’d think Lizzo and Future would’ve ranked higher

slw84 Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 As it was might pull it off for the runner up spot

But what he means is that Billboard year-end charts used to end around November 30th, but in the last years they have been ending one week before and the current year-end is predicted to end in November 12th (unless they do a year-end with 53 weeks and it ends on November 19th at least)
est. in 90s Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Wow @ Latto being the only female rapper inside the top 10 Lizzo coming in @ 11 with ADT
naval23 Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Cold Heart being a global smash and making top 10 year end despite peaking at #7 is insane

Many of its weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 had less than 20M streams, some even with less than 15M streams. I know Heat Waves had a good chunk of its run in 2021, but it was in the Top 10 of Spotify for a good 18 months. AIW, at less than 8 months old, is already outside the Top 25 of Spotify.

CalvinZeng Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 Am I the only one who is longing for a year end chart with 52-week performances, as I am so addicted to 'Circles Around This Town'
pride4jc1222 Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 Chart Essentials 52-week prediction: Here is its 53-week prediction, in which both Unholy and Anti-Hero safely make:
