I do find a lot of male actors particularly overrated, mostly because they're very basic, but I guess most of the time charm plays a big role and as someone who doesn't know much about them I can't see it. It happened with Ian Somerhalder and Ed Westwick for me, I used to think they were so overrated back in the days and when I watched their shows it suddenly clicked.
