She’s saying if Jesus was more imperfect: getting drunk, doing drugs, throwing money away, then she’d want to be like him, or become Christian.

On the contrary, it seems she feels wronged by Christianity for the traditional values they spread. She literally had a Baptist Church group picket her concert.

I don't hate this. There's actually something quite addictive about it with that acoustic pop chorus mixed with the uptempo verses. However, I just don't think it was the right single to introduce her/the album. She needed something with a little more pop and this is simply a pleasant album track
