Countdowns are a great way to build hype and get everyone to talk about her every single day. Although she should be doing it on IG, the same video posted to both do substantially better when posted there compared to Tiktok.

Not confirmed but with 13 songs and only 29 days to the album she HAS to either be doing it EVERY night (13 nights) or every OTHER night (26 nights) or else she won’t finish in time.

It's also possible that she's trying to throw us off by doing one every two days but mixing up the order. Two nights in a roll then an empty day then normal schedule then nothing then 5 nights in a roll etc

I think a single would alienate the GP interest in her. She’d pick the wrong one and no one would give the album a chance. Meanwhile, they’ve been streaming Don’t Blame Me for AGES now. A song Taylor never would’ve made a single. Same with Cruel Summer. Let everyone discover their favorite songs on album release week, Swifties can suffer without a single for a few weeks.

I also think she's cautious about people judging it to fast without the context of the album. The Sun lines saying it was her most experimental music to date makes me wonder if she isn't trying to protecting it from unfair and early criticism

doing this on TikTok definitely a bad idea. these are not the type of videos that do well there, her social media engagement will drop
