Crazy to think that after this week there will be just over 3 weeks left till the album. Time has gone by really fast, if she drops the tracklist + more details soon I wouldn't mind not getting a lead at all. It's a good idea to keep up the mystery so that curiosity streams will be higher.

Yeah. I actually dont mind not getting a lead, im sure she'll keep things fun until then anyways to rack up preorders

Yeah at this point the wait is not much longer and the mystery just adds to the first day streams!

I don't know about not having a lead single leading to bigger first day streams. What helped HH and tun have such massive first weeks are their smash lead singles.

After ME!, she released cardigan, willow, and All Too Well during their parent album release week and all debuted at #1. I feel like she’s gunning for a fourth time to extend the record?

 

I hope I’m wrong though because I would love a lead. Seems a bit late for it now since the album is only a few weeks away. Don’t see the point if she doesn’t release this Friday

her lead would debut at #1 easily if released now. if she had released right after she had announced the album she probably would have ended up spending 6+ weeks at #1. the points are just ridiculously low. if someone big doesn't release now harry will end up breaking mariah's record

The target vinyl being Lavender is so random. Especially when looking at all the others. It somewhat matches the original cover, but it's not remotely cohesive with all the others. And that's kinda unusual for Taylor  

 

At least it's not target red though.

Target might release a limited edition red vinyl for the standard LP in exchange for the bonus tracks to be available on streaming sooner.

Exactly. Standard cover is the most striking photo of the entire shoot, and the back cover is a close second. It’s like Taylor suddenly gained an aesthetic sense.

another reason why i don't want it to essentially be a "surprise" release is because it won't work. the vinyl is being shipped to every city, village and remote cabin across the globe upon release and there's no way this doesn't leak, maybe even a week early with how many copies will have to be in circulation. once that happens we'll know everything there is to know and her plans of making the album's sound/tracklist etc... a surprise will be foiled

I never thought about this but it makes sense and she probably knows it. Let’s hope for a tracklist reveal this week then.

Specially when the anticipation from not only swifties but everyone has been felt clearly. If Red Tv lworded imagine a new album

Taylor does not do tracklist reveal thing since Speak Now era  It's actually crazy if you think about it  She probably won't post it unless it's leaked somewhere

Well 1989 leaked like 2 days ahead of time, but yeah since then her albums are usually under lock and key until the date of release pretty much
