Jaspurr Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 The over-defensiveness here. OT: Hack AntonOFF sucks. Can't wait for her to tease queen Elvira next week with no music out yet.
Kummercell Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 producer discourse is so stupid btw no producer is pointing a gun at someone's head and forcing them to make music you wouldn't like

PoisonedIvy Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 Someone trying to drag Dorothea and INTHAF Someone wanting Elvira who has given us dud after dud Like?? Girl at Home TV is enough for me to not want her on any tracks that the general public will actually get to hear.

Her music is way too digital which leads the songs she touches to age like milk. But at least she knows how to produce her vocals unlike Hack. I'd rather listen to acoustic versions of CS and DBATC with fans losing their **** in the background than the shitty original versions.

Taylor definitely needs better vocal producers, she doesn’t really create an atmosphere with her music.

Shendelzare Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 no more max martin gang album'd please

However I agree with this. Like we can't blame Joel Little for... everything he did on Loser, when he also produced Ribs and Buzzcut Season. But that wasn't really my point, I just can't imagine wanting Max back over Aaron/Jack who are way more fitted to helping her express her artistry than Max which was my point. Especially not after the last stuff they did together vs her last Aaron/Jack songs. It's not so much that it's the fault of the producers as it is just that their collaborative juices dried up. Like she's obviously the driving force behind all her music but still, a good collaborator vs bad one can make or break bringing her material to the next level or not since it takes two to tango (unless you're a Tori Amos who does every aspect of their music by themselves)
CandleGuy Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 What if the song in her IG post is just the lead slowed down to sound like male vocals

The friend isn't using any of this free Taylor promo, hasn't revealed himself, etc. That's the cover story Everyone is gonna feel so dumb when this exact song is released with Taylor's vocals in a few weeks.

Guess it isn't a given... in their mental gymnastics effort to excuse their fav from all guilt they end up being misoginistic by fault. Apparently Taylor needs to come out and admit that half of Rep and half of Lover are actually her choices, even if many don't like it

mael Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 (edited) Jack Godtonoff was responsible for the best parts of Reputation and Lover and August and ATW10. He has also shown his versatility on both of those albums. Blame our girl for the shitty lyrics!!! Edited September 17, 2022 by mael

Truth Tella Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 She should work with David Guetta like Bebe and get herself a I'm Good (Blue) for the first single. Could be like a midnight on molly type of vibe.
RuflesCando Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 You guys should really stop wanting Dua Lipa Levels of prospect for her and rather start hoping for cementation on her status as an essential American-canon musician rather than a hit seeker
mercurial high Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 As much as I disagree with her decisions about the singles, I also wouldn't want her to take suggestions from fans either, some of you have no idea what y'all are saying.
