They also tend to serve quite a bit of filler in their latest albums anyways, I'm not expecting any remotely similar to The Killers. I honestly don't really know what to expect. That 60-70s sound that people are speculating (based of the vinyl covers) seems a bit... Weird. We shall see.. tomorrow hopefully Thank you for the info not sure if you already know this, but prior to the albums announcement, during the whole "TAYLOR SWIFT IS SINGLEHANDEDLY KILLING OUR ENTIRE PLANET" thing, The Sun published an article saying she was working on an album "and is keen to work with up-and-coming female artists" (which was later confirmed in Taylor's album announcement). So It's safe to say someone on Taylor's team gave them this article as a distraction nnn. But that means the rest of the tea is accurate. About the sound the article says it's "her most experimental album" & "It’ll also be her most collaborative album yet and she is eager to work with up-and-coming female artists and producers." Also that "the songs [...] reminded her team of Stevie Nicks and Joan Armatrading". So that's all but confirmed; 70's sound, pop rock, female features (and production). Now that I've actually taken the time to type this out it's occurring to me that you might want to include some of this in the OP, as many people are still debating on the sound and saying "i want a solo album!!" nn @Almodusa

Cleanromantic Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 I don't see why the Grammy cut-off date is considered an issue when the majority of her leads were released in different periods to their albums . It'll actually make sense for her to release a lead now, get an story nom and perform it at this year's ceremony (that's probably gonna have a lot of buzz based on the nominees like Beyonce and Adele) and then focus on getting awarded for the album/ second single for the 2024 awards.
GambleBreauxNews Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 idk I just find it weird she announced very limited details about an album then hasn’t said anything about it in almost two weeks
