What was it like in 4DX? I'd say it would have been so fun.

It was fun but sometimes it got a bit annoying, I did really like it really smelled like a hospital during Johns brain surgery scene, it added to the experience!

Huge problem I had or at least plot hole wise:

Let's say Valentina survived the trap. Wouldn't she need medical assistance ASAP like the last girl? Wouldn't that mean they would've called an ambulance very early on?

Spoiler

I think John told Amanda to bring Gabriella to a hospital, maybe she would've dropped her off and bounced, Idk, not that I think about it it's vague, tbh. :deadbanana2:

Also Dr. Lawrence Gordon could have taken care of them, I know he wasn't there (since he doesn't wanna have anything to do with the franchise anymore) but it would make sense, lmao.

81M is great but I was hoping for this to make at least 100M and it's likely not happening at this point. :cries: I hope we can at least get Saw XI.

I've been re-watching the saga lately and some thoughts and theories:

* John knew that Amanda was involved in Jill's miscarriage and forgave her because of her loyalty towards him. There's no way John didn't know about Hoffman blackmailing Amanda, I mean, it's John Kramer.

* Amanda and Hoffman started to break the games rules because they saw inconsistencies between John's mantra and what he was actually doing.

* Saw V is a little bit boring. Saw I-IV (whether they're good or not) are entertained as hell, same with VI and VII (I know 3D one is really bad), but Saw V gets kinda bored towards the end. It's just too slow, I don't know.

While I love Saw X, you really have to suspend your disbelief because pretty much everyone would have died regardless. A person could not saw through their skull without anesthetic without going into shock. You could also die/paralyze yourself/lose functioning in different parts of the body/etc. if you cut the wrong part of the brain. Valentina would have most likely died even with the tourniquet because she cut through her femoral artery. And I'm not sure anyone could survive that amount of radiation poisoning Gabriella received.

On the topic of suspending disbelief...

One of my biggest issues with the first movie is actually the big reveal. I know in a later film, it was shown that John took muscle relaxers, but at some point, they would have seen him breathing. It has always bothered me.

I just checked it and it's at 93M. I now think it's a possibility too. Flop VI and Spanned can only wish. :jonny:

9 days away from the BR/DVD release, and still no info about a steelbook. I have all the movies on steelbook and will be hella pissed if I can't get my favorite movie of the series.

France is getting one, so I'm hoping the US does too. :chick3:

The deleted scenes are out there if anyone is interested.

I’m only a few minutes in, so I can’t say if they’re interesting or not (there’s 37 minutes!).

Edit: some of them are really good and add some interesting back story :jonny:

Spoilers in case people want to wait until they get their copy.

Also, trigger warning for mention of child abuse.

Spoiler

After John contacts Cecilia and schedules his appointment, he contacts William from Saw VI to try to get the insurance to improve the treatment.

While Amanda is unlocking Parker when he first arrives at the warehouse, he asks if Jigsaw is her dad, and she responds “my dad is a criminal. He is a drug addict. He molested children. Thanks for listening.”

We also just see more of Amanda not being able to handle the thought of dying, and we can tell she’s nervous around the blood and stuff.

Jigsaw is shown interrogating Diego.

Cecilia actually realizes John is Jigsaw and confronts him about it after Mateo’s trap.

At the end of Cecilia’s trap, a door opens in the warehouse, and she pulls her head out of the hole. She presumably survives, but we don’t know for sure.

Those were the most interesting scenes to me!
