She will not do anything for it and it has a single cover that was made in Notes app. She is simply trying to find some joy in music after she was treated like a slave for nearly 15 years. This. I really wish people would understand this better. Britney, atleast from what we know, hasn't had true artistic control over any of her projects since Circus. Even Glory was not her full realized vision (original Make Me video being scrapped for example). This will probably be the first time in a WHILE that she gets to just choose to do something that she can 100 % stay behind. That really on it's own is enough to celebrate, ESPECIALLY because she doesn't owe us anything

It's just ridiculous to think that she has any commercial expectations for this, especially as she mentioned multiple times she was considering retiring from showbusiness altogether. She simply loved the song and wanted to do something with Elton for years.

 

I think they're confused with their faves who are so desperate for relevancy, they will try anything (including makeup) and then lie about it being what they dreamed about doing all along.
