it's not bad, but it's not a sign of anything anymore as every film gets a standing ovations on film festivals nowadays. even that one panned Brad Pitt and George Clooney comedy film got one. :rip:

of 4 minutes. of course they all get one but the longer the better. 4 minutes is frozen. 17 minutes for almodovar monday is a triumph. Queer with Craig got 9 yesterday.

so yeah 11 minutes is VERY VERY GOOD.

There's a huge difference between a polite 4-minute standing ovation and a 11-minute one.

Be careful, certain individuals on this site that are clearly fused to their seat cushions are going to try to convince us that this is bad! :suburban:

It has a 53 on Metacritic.

Ana de Armas was in tears as she received a mind-blowing 14-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival.

Hm? There are 7 films already in main competition that have gotten 9+ minute standing Os including one that went 17.5 minutes (Swinton and Moore in The Room Next Door) and one that went 12.7 minutes (Brutalist).
