album Carly Rae Jepsen - 'The Loneliest Time'

Kiss is my least favourite Carly album, but mostly because they butchered Curiosity (my favourite CRJ song) - the original version that was released as a single in Canada when I was living there is SO SUPERIOR. 

 

More Than A Memory and Tonight I'm Getting Over You are top tier Carly though.

My concert date is on the day this comes out, so I'm 100% listening to this first. Honestly prob won't even get to the Taylor album until like a week later because I usually play albums from artists I've just seen for a while after their concerts

Here for it, it makes sense she's probably doing this as a smaller pre-album tour for the fans with these deep cuts and then will do a proper Loneliest Time tour next year to go along with summer festival dates

Wish she would have just fully leant into it and done a few Kiss/EMOTION Side B deep cuts too, but 5 songs from Dedicated Side B and 2 EMOTION bonus tracks still feels like a huge win to me when I assumed going into this that it would basically just be her summer festival setlist with some tracks from the new album mixed in.

 

This Love Isn't Crazy is such a perfect opening song too
